Robust and persistent

Tall fescue is the answer to the more or less frequent dry periods and hot summers. Kontiki is a breeding of good and resistant varieties to meet the growing demand in tall fescue. Kontiki is used for a wide range of purposes due to good wear tolerance. Kontiki is a dark, dense and fine leaved variety with a nice winter colour which also matches well to Poa protensis in mixtures.

Highly resistant to diseases

Kontiki has proved a high resistance to diseases like Brown Patch (Rhizotomia solani) and to Fusarium in the official trials in Germany. This is also one of the reasons for the very nice summer and winter performance.
