Very persistent hybrid ryegrass Best ground cover Excellent disease resistance A true grazing type of hybrid ryegrass | |
A hybrid with perennial properties
Tetragraze is a tetraploid variety of hybrid ryegrass with excellent ground cover and very high persistency. In fact it looks like a Perennial Ryegrass in many aspects, but still keeping the hybrid´s early spring growth and fast regrowth.
High yield
The forage yield of Tetragraze is high - especially in the 3rd harvest year. This makes the variety well suited for medium-long term mixtures used for one or two cuts and grazing afterwards.
Very healthyThe resistance to crown rust and mildew is well above average - this of course adds to the good grazing properties of Tetragraze.
The best ground cover
On the BSPB recommended list for England & Wales, Tetragraze has the top rating for 3rd year ground cover of the hybrids listed. - the persistency is on top.
