Biannual
There are no clear frontiers between annual ryegrass (westerwoldicum) and biannual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum). ALOUETTE is particular being a rather persistent biannual type showing better persistency after both 1st and 2nd year of exploitation. This allows maximum return on investment and can be an alternative to choosing a “pronounced Italian type hybrid ryegrass”.
Quality Insurance
ALOUETTE is not a quality compromise: Fewer stems in aftermath, high resistance to rusts and excellent Xanthomonas tolerance. Yield distribution is better than in dedicated conservation types and mixed use cut/grazing is possible.
